But recently I preached on tithing. Like your sin sermon, I felt incredibly uncomfortable,and it showed. In fact, I thought I did so poorly that the next Sunday, I preached it again! This is EXTREMELY unusual for me - I usually stick to the RCL. I later found out that a newcomer to our church was asking why the only thing I every preach on is money!
