A Prayer for the Social Worker, Counselor, Therapist, Recovery Coach, etc.

A parishioner who is a counselor asked if I'd write a prayer for her to pray between sessions with clients. I though I'd share more widely:

God of Compassion,
You’ve heard what I’ve heard.
You know the pain,
the unmentionable,
the grotesque,
the shame.
I’m feeling the heaviness of another’s life,
even as Christ took the burdens of the world on the cross.
In short time, you gave him life again.
I humbly ask for the same,
that together we can bear yet another’s.
By your Spirit with me in Christ,
Amen.

  2. A significant number of you all notice that Saudi Arabia has severe laws on ladies like not allowing them to drive and not letting them dress openly. Both of these things are gotten from the nations chiefs and not from the heavenly book itself, the Quran. islamic courses for adults
